The University of the National University of Mongolia opened the profession of light engineering mechanics and received the first enrollment.

1982

The Institute of Light and Food Industry (ХХF) / Faculty of the National University of Mongolia was established as a separate institute from the National University of Mongolia.

1990

The Resolution 154 of the Council of Ministers of the People's Republic of Mongolia organized the Polytechnic Institute as a Technical University.

1992

Enhanced with Mechanical Technology School.

1995

The Technical Institute of Mechanical Technology School and Light Industry Technology School was reorganized by the decision of the Rectory Council of the TIC.

2000

Department of Textile Industry The Center for Research on Wooly and the "Textile Institute" and the Mongolian-Korean Nutrition Research Center have been established.

2006

The Forest Research Institute was established under the school of industrial technology

2009

The 50th anniversary of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology

Established the Center for Food Research and Training at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology.

The International Engineering Education CDIO 12 study and training methodology began in 2014.

The School of Technology Technology was renovated with the Unit of Food Engineering, Design, Forest Technology, Biotechnology, Nutrition,Textile Studies.

Food and Nutrition Research Center meets the requirements of ISO-17025: 9001 and certifies it.

Mongolian and Japanese investments were established at the SHIMA SEIKI TRAINING CENTER training center in Asia with the first knitting design system.
